Alilaguna Waterbuses: Alilaguna https://www.alilaguna.it/en/ has three different lines (blue, orange and red) from the airport to the center of Venice and takes 30-60 minutes depending on your stop. The price for a single journey is 15 euros and you can book your ticket in advance.

takes 30 minutes to arrive in Venice at Piazzale Roma (right next to the Stazione di Venezia Santa Lucia train station and the terminus for all motor vehicles). From Piazzale Roma you can walk or use the vaporetto water bus on the Grand Canal to your hotel. The Vaporetto requires a ticket you can purchase at any stop, but tickets are rarely checked.

Kids

We love kids, but alas Venice seems not to. There are almost no parks, stairs everywhere making life hard for strollers, and boats are required to go any distance. Our events are not kid friendly, and we recommend leaving kids at home.

Anyone bringing kids let our team know so can share tips and advice.
